2020 Update

2020 Update

What a year. Barring any further surprises from 2020, we plan to open up ordering as early as November 12th. We’ll post an update if that date changes. The online store will once again use the virtual tree lot format where the tree you see in the photos is the one you get. Each virtual lot tree is photographed to show its unique features. We will do our best to display the tree to show its beauty and faults.

Trees will ship on the next available shipping day. Our main shipping days fall on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but we are expecting delays across the board due to an increase in shipping demand as a result of the pandemic so we may adjust our shipping schedule without notice. We understand that you may want your tree to arrive later or on a day of your choosing. This year we are switching to a new model for arrival dates in general…before Thanksgiving and after Thanksgiving.

If you want your tree to arrive before Thanksgiving, we recommend ordering as early as possible. If you want your tree to arrive after Thanksgiving, you will want to wait for a later batch of trees. While we cannot guarantee the availability of future batches of trees due to unforeseen circumstances (such as weather, COVID-19, etc.) historically we have been able to make trees available for later ship dates.

Our tree lot will be open the day after Thanksgiving just like every year for the last 24 years. However, we will only be open Nov 27-29 and Dec 5-6 and by appointment only. Please bring a truck or trailer if you can.

You will need to be signed up on silvertiptreefarm.com to purchase a tree. We no longer support guest check out. If you already have an account, login by going to https://silvertiptreefarm.com/account/login. If you have any issues first try forgotten password. You will be emailed a new password. If that doesn’t work for you send us an email and we’ll be happy to help.

We will do our best to finish 2020 strong but we are expecting:

  • Shipping delays
  • A limited supply of trees
  • Delays in our communication response times

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Be safe and let’s have a Merry Christmas.

Robert Hopkins
